Nora Cross 
In
my art I incorporate my fondness for geometric shapes as well as
patterns (especially ethnic). By
layering shapes upon shapes and
contrasting color hues, I develop interesting forms that create
multi-faceted designs. The
variety of colors and textures usually change
with the seasons (dark colors for fall and winter bright
colors for spring and summer).
The simplicity of ethnic patterns adds not only
textural contrast but also a feeling of unity to my abstract
collage.
