Skip Willits

In casting an inspirational net as a working artist, you become aware of the humility that comes with watching your plans veer sideways, and sculptures become something other than what you expected.  I took off for Ireland and ended up in Spain .  I set off for the Hebrides and landed on the Shetlands. I met Kristin and collaborated on work I never thought was possible.  And of course through it all I always rediscover the obvious; the trip, not the destination, becomes the point.
