Feb. 22: Raymond Yeager
Opening Reception, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Yeager’s solo
exhibition will be part
installation and
part painting. There will be
food, art, and
fun! The exhibit will be up to view

March 7: Susan McPeters & Jonathan Turner
"This & That" Musical Performance, 7:00 p.m.
Quad City Arts welcomes Susan McPeters and
Jonathan Turner
with their production of “This
and That.” They will be
presenting an intimate
evening of cabaret-type music
for Free First
Fridays
at the Quad City Arts Center. Come and
enjoy a classy evening of art and music.
March 14: Buffalo Carp vol. 5
Release Party, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Come celebrate the release of the 5th
anniversary issue
of Buffalo Carp, Quad
City Arts' literary magazine.
Every
contributor
will be invited to read, birthday
cake
will be
served (plus five candles) and
more! Copies
of the
issue will be available
for $10 and
bundles of all 5 issues
will be
available at a
special discount rate.
March 28: Poetry Reading
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Visiting poets from Wisconsin will
read
selections of their work, including Prudence
Tippins (Two of Us Make a World), Cordon
Glass (The Blood Truck), and E.P. Schultz
(Third Floor Window, Misprints and Legends).

April 4: LoJo Russo
Live Music, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Words that evoke images, ideas, thoughts
and
emotions. All these words have been
used
to describe the music of Lojo Russo.
We invite
you to enjoy the eclectic sounds
of an artistthat desires us to take a chance,
to think
outside the music box.
April 11: Guy Davis
Live Music, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Whether Guy Davis is appearing on
“Late Night with Conan O’Brien”
or
nationally
syndicated radio programs such
as Garrison
Keillor’s, “A Prairie Home
Campanion," “Mountain Stage” or David
Dye’s,“World Café,"
in front of 15,000
people on the Main Stage of a major festival,
or teaching an intimate
gathering of
students at a Music Camp, Guy
feels the
instinctive desire to give each listener
his all when playing the blues. We invite you to
come and enjoy the musical performances of
this celebrated bluesman.
April 18: 31st Annual High School Art
Exhibit
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Local High School students will display their
work in the
gallery. The High School Art
Exhibition is an annual
favorite that brings in
large numbers of art goers to the
gallery.
Come and enjoy an awards ceremony,
refreshments and
great art of our area youth.
April 25: National Poetry Reading Month
Event, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
An event dedicated to poetry. Come enjoy
refreshments and the appreciation of
poetic verse.
