HOLIDAY PARADE

Welcome Santa to town by being a part of the 17^th annual Holiday Parade!  Broadcast live by KWQC TV-6, come witness the largest helium-filled balloon parade in the country.  More than 20 huge character balloons, the Distinguished Clown Corps, and area high school marching bands, among dozens of other entries will bring jubilation to downtown Davenport for the official kick-off to the holiday season.

Parade participants gather in the Modern Woodmen Park parking lot, go east on River Drive to Pershing, up Pershing turning west on 2^nd Street, continue west on 2^nd Street to Western and south on Western to River Drive. Handicapped parking is available at the former Union Station depot, located at River Drive and Ripley.  Parking ramps are available at 3^rd Street and Ripley, River Drive and Main, and 2^nd Street and Brady.  Rhythm City Casino guests use Iowa Street to River Drive, turning west to casino entrance. The Ground Transportation Center will remain open. Transfers & pick up will be in the
parking lot behind City Hall. Please note that there will also be a change in routes.
