Since 1979, Quad City Arts’ Arts Dollars grant program has provided funding for local artists and non-profit organizations to enrich the quality of life in the Quad City region through the arts.

Applicants may apply in only one category. Multiple applications are not allowed. Applications will be evaluated by panels of community volunteers according to their artistic merit, community involvement, and administrative ability.

Project & Education Grants
Art Project Grants support arts projects or programming that that emphasize community engagement. This category is intended for one-time or first-time projects or programs, and preference will be given to those applications. However, ongoing programs may apply. Individual artists may apply for up to $1,500. Non-profit organizations may apply for up to $5,000.
K-12 Arts Education Grants support projects or programming that provide opportunities in the arts for K-12 students. Artists may apply for up to $1,500. Non-profit organizations and K-12 schools may apply for up to $5,000.

Capacity-Building Grants fund activities that increase an organization's overall capacity, organizational strength, and community impact. Capacity-Building grants are not intended for individual projects or programs. Organizations may apply for up to $5,000.

Support for the 2019 Arts Dollars cycle is provided by the Hubbell-Waterman Foundation, the Illinois Arts Council Agency, the Isabel Bloom Art Education Fund, and John Deere.
