Deck the Downtown: Call for Window ArtistsThe vibrant downtowns of Bettendorf, Davenport, and Rock Island are inviting artists to illuminate the holiday season with your creative vision! We are seeking artists to help us transform the windows of businesses into enchanting holiday displays. Let your creativity shine and help us spread the joy of the holiday season throughout our downtown districts.
A stipend of $300 will be provided per business location, and a public vote will be taken to vote on their favorite displays. The artists/teams with the top votes will be awarded downtown gift cards and a grand prize gift basket for the artist with the most votes. CALL FOR ENTRY: Maple City Fine Arts ExhibitArtists are invited to enter up to 5 pieces in the Maple City Fine Arts Exhibit. Entries must be dropped off during one of the given timeslots, and entries will be displayed at the Geneseo Gallery. Cash prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places during a ceremony held on October 8, at The Cellar restaurant. All entrants will also be entered in a raffle giveaway.

Light sculpture Call for Allerton Holiday GlowAllerton Park and Retreat Center’s annual holiday GLOW event is a one-mile illuminated walk through the Allerton formal gardens featuring light sculpture art installations. Artists will propose installations via the application form, including rental fees, dimensions, and installation requirements, and must be present for the installation and removal of the sculpture. Park staff will be able to assist with installation and removal, but artists must be prepared to take the lead. Artists may also be present for opening night to interact with the public, but it is not a requirement.

Second Avenue Window GalleryQuad City Arts features the work of emerging artists who have 10-20 canvases or framed pieces of art to exhibit in our Second Avenue Window Gallery for 6-8 weeks. Sculpture is also welcome. All artists will be featured with their own page on our website during the exhibit. Become a Featured Artist on "Quad Cities Live"KWQC TV6 and Quad City Arts has formed a partnership to feature artists on their latest Friday segment "QC Live". TV6 encourages local artists to create and submit new versions of their Quad Cities Live logo. During these segments artists are able to talk about the inspiration for their logo and feature up to seven (7) pieces of artwork. All interviews are currently done remotely.
