Quad City Arts facilitates the selection and display of public sculpture with cities, organizations, and businesses in publicly accessible locations throughout the Quad Cities
About the PUBLIC SCULPTURE PROGRAM
Our Public Sculpture Program coordinates the selection and display of public sculpture with cities, organizations, and businesses in publicly-accessible locations throughout the Quad Cities.
The sculptures are leased and on public display for a one-year period at which point they may be purchased for permanent installation or be replaced with new sculpture. Our current exhibition features 22 leased sculptures in partnership with the City of Rock Island, the Moline Public Art Commission, The City of Bettendorf, the Downtown Davenport Partnership, and the DeWitt Community Library, showing their commitment to the cultural and artistic vitality of our community.
All leased sculptures are on public view and available for purchase. If acquired, they are eligible for relocation once the exhibition dates conclude.

Submit your woRK
Facilitated by Quad City Arts, this exhibition opportunity offers established and emerging public artists the chance to compete for multiple sites throughout the Quad City Region. Artists may submit up to six pieces to be considered for all sites. Works previously submitted may be submitted again since sculptures will be chosen by up to 8 selection committees for locations that are not close to each other. The 2024-25 program placed 26 sculptures in the cities of Rock Island and Moline, Illinois; Bettendorf, Davenport, Clinton and DeWitt, Iowa. We expect to place even more this season.
